---Instructor: Keely Kirk--- Take your improv skills to the next level by exploring how spontaneous scenes can inspire fully developed sketch comedy. In this advanced-level course, students will use improvisation as a tool to generate original characters, premises, and comedic moments that can be shaped into scripted material. Through games, scene work, and collaborative writing, you'll learn how to heighten comedic ideas, find the funny, and turn the raw energy of improv into polished sketches. The course will culminate in a live performance showcasing both improv scenes and original sketches. Prerequisite: Completion of prior sketch class or instructor approval.
