About this event

---Instructor: Robert Homer-Drummond--- You probably know of Anton Chekhov--the great Russian writer of stories and plays, but have you heard of MIchel Chekhov, his nephew and a great actor? Stanislavski called Michael Chekhov, my "most brilliant pupil". He developed a psycho-physical acting technique primarily known for the "PG" or psychological gesture that has been used by many of the great film and stage actors of our day including Marilyn Monroe, Gregory Peck, Jack Nicholson and Johnny Depp. In this class we will learn about Michael Chekhov's technique while working on scenes from Anton Chekhov's plays. Join us for a fascinating time! Connect with others using Chekhov's powerful imaginative tools!
