Description

Whether you are a new beekeeper or just interested in getting in a hive, participating in a hive inspection is a great hands-on way to learn about what goes on in the hive, what we're looking for during an inspection, and become more comfortable working around bees. Participants will suit up and go into the hives with one of the beekeepers at Old Rucker Farm. **You must have a bee suit (jacket, veil, and gloves at a minimum). If you do not have one, we have a few extras. Email Kristen korr@alpharetta.ga.us to inquire about borrowing a suit.
