Description

This class is appropriate for all levels. Students will be introduced to Fiber-Reactive dyes to create a luminous, vibrantly colored silk/rayon velvet 9"x42" oblong scarf. Different techniques will be applied to a stretched-out scarf on a PVC pipe frame, that include combining fluid and thickened dye. Velvet scarves are a wonderful holiday gift that are soft, cozy and elegant for mild Georgia winters.

A $25 supply fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Students should bring paper towels and disposable gloves.
