What is mixed media? In this 6-session class, we will dive into many simple concepts of mixed media and create different works worthy of admiration. New artists and established artists are all welcome! We will explore several art techniques, some old, some new, adding a twist to create unique artworks. By blending and layering materials and ideas, Endless creative possibilities with 2-dimensional mixed media supplies like paper, maps, paper shopping bags and scrapbook papers, and more!

Optional materials you may want to bring: We can discuss additional materials at our first class.• Glue stick or liquid (dedicated brush for glueing)• Masking tape or painter’s tape• Scissors/ exacto knife• Pencil with eraser• Ruler• Highlighters• Color pencils• Colored pens, markers broad or thinOther stuff that may be sitting around your home to bring: packing tape, washi tape.
