Description
Grades: 12th - Adult. Level 1 - 5. A 'virtual' or ‘in person’ transformation for your body! This class will be offered simultaneously in person and virtually through Zoom. Using dumbbells this class will help you tone up, trim down, and build strength. Learn basic weight training principles using free weights to target major muscle groups. Please have/bring your own weights, mat, and a water bottle. If you have 3#, 5#, and 8# hand weights you can use them in this class. If you don’t have weights you can use soup cans, water bottles, or your own body weight! Each class will end with balance, flexibility, and core bodywork. All fitness levels are welcome. Instructor: Geraldine (Jerry) Powell, CPT. 8 classes. No class 4/15 and 5/6.
The in person portion of this hybrid class on 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, and 6/10 will be held in the Fitness Room not the Cafeteria Annex.
To participate in the online/virtual format you will need access to the internet via a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Your device will need a built in camera/microphone or a webcam if you'd like to communicate directly with the instructor.
