Adult. Prerequisite: Woodworking with Handtools 2 - Intermediate. This class is an opportunity for the student to continue developing the handtool skills that were learned in the first two “Woodworking with Handtools” classes. The student will be expected to have a measured drawing of the project they wish to complete. The student will also be responsible for purchasing the lumber. The instructor can make recommendations on the plans and where to purchase the lumber. The instructor will also assist the student in the initial flattening and cutting of the lumber to size. It is suggested that the project not be much larger than a bread box. Some examples of appropriate projects would be a shaker table, a jewelry box, a toolbox or a wall hanging whiskey cabinet. This class will take place the same time as the Woodworking 2 class. Space may be limited depending on the size of the Woodworking with Handtools 2 class, so early registration is encouraged if possible. 10 classes.
