Grades 10th – Adult. Craving the crispy, flavorful goodness of Indian samosas? Come join us for a hands-on cooking class where you’ll learn how to make these iconic snacks from scratch! From kneading the dough to folding that perfect triangle, this interactive class will take you step by step through the art of samosa-making. As a bonus, you’ll also learn how to prepare two classic chutneys to complement your creations! Instructor: Namrata Khemka. 1 class.
Class Highlights:
• Hands-On Experience: Mix, knead, and roll your own dough while preparing flavorful samosa fillings from scratch.
• Filling Options: Choose between two delicious vegetarian fillings—raw potatoes infused with whole garam masala spices for a bold, aromatic bite, or a classic blend of boiled potatoes and peas for a comforting, familiar flavor.
• Folding & Frying Techniques: Master the traditional samosa fold and learn the secrets to frying them golden and crisp.
• Chutney Crafting: Make two mouthwatering accompaniments—sweet-tangy tamarind chutney and refreshing mint yogurt dip.
• Expert Guidance: Learn from our experienced instructor, Namrata, who will guide you with step-by-step instructions and share cultural insights along the way.
• What to Bring: Apron, rolling pin, medium-size mixing bowl, a clean surface mat for rolling, and a take out container to take your meal home.
