Grades 9th - Adult. Dive into the vibrant world of Korean cuisine with this hands-on class, where you’ll master the techniques to create two authentic types of kimchi: Kkakdugi, Korean radish kimchi, and Oi Sobagi, Korean cucumber kimchi.
Under Carol Chase’s expert guidance, you’ll explore the art and science of fermentation, gain insights into the essential ingredients, and learn how to balance bold, tangy flavors with simple, approachable recipes. This interactive workshop is perfect for both beginners and seasoned cooks who are eager to expand their culinary skills. Knife skills are a plus because there is a lot of cutting.

Bring: apron, medium size bowl, mat or chopping board, mandoline and knife for cutting. Containers to take home both kimchi. The plastic to go containers are ideal.
