What time should I plan to arrive at the Harvest Turkey Trot?
Registration opens at 8:00am. Participants will receive their t-shirt and race bib upon check-in. Please check-in early to allow plenty of time to get to the race start.
How much does registration cost?
Registration is $20
After October 22, registration is $25.
What is included in the registration?
Cost before October 22, includes a race t-shirt. The remaining funds will be used to cover the cost of the race and a donation to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
When does registration close?
The last day to register to get a race t-shirt is October 22. You can register up until the start of the race you will just have to pay the late registration fee.
Do I have to register my kids or can they run with me?
Everyone running needs a registration. Only those with a race bib will receive a medal.
Can I run with a stroller?
Yes, please be aware and stay clear of other runners.
Can my dog run with me?
Yes. No retractable lease, please be aware and stay clear of other runners.
What if my race shirt doesn’t fit, can I exchange it for a different size?
We post deadlines for shirt size selections and order shirts in advance according to what you selected. We estimate the remainder. If we have extras after the race, you are welcome to exchange.
I registered but now I can’t make it, can I get a refund or defer my registration to next year?
There is NO RAINCHECK for this event. Your entry fee for this year’s event CANNOT be transferred to next year’s event, and there are NO REFUNDS, no exceptions. There are NO exceptions.
What are your contingency plans for bad weather?
Rain – The event will NOT be cancelled due to rain alone unless the downpour is such that staff/runners lose visibility making situations unsafe. If this occurs, we will wait until the rain subsides and follow the same procedure listed for lightning conditions (minus the 30 minute rule). Runners will be informed of such a change via announcements on race morning.
Lightning – In the event of lightning the race will be postponed by 30 minutes every time lightning is spotted and thunder is heard within 6 miles of the event. Please note that every time lightning strikes and thunder is heard within 6 miles of the race site we must delay the start by 30 minutes.
