Calling all sports fans with a passion for storytelling! This exciting, hands-on Sports Media and Digital Broadcasting Summer Camp is designed for middle and high school students with an interest in the world of sports and news broadcasting. Whether you see yourself as a sports journalist, a TV anchor, or a behind-the-scenes media expert, this camp will provide insight into the world of digital media through real-world experience using industry-standard equipment and software. Over the course of five days, students will get the chance to:  1. Learn the basics of sports broadcasting, from live commentary to camera operation.  2. Try out real media equipment, including video cameras, wireless microphones, and a TV studio setup.  3. Create and star in your own sports or news show, with roles ranging from anchor to sideline reporter.  4. Practice interviewing athletes or students from other camps and news packages to develop your storytelling skills.  5. Collaborate in teams to put together a final live or recorded broadcast. Whether you’re interested in on-camera roles, behind-the-scenes production, or live-streaming, this camp offers the chance to experience the excitement of sports and news media in a supportive and creative environment.
