About this event
A visual art course that explores the interplay between imagery and written elements in creative expression. Drawing inspiration from poetry, literature, and personal writings, students will experiment with drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media techniques to seamlessly integrate text into their artwork. Through mark-making, layering, and abstraction, participants will discover how words can function beyond their literal meaning—becoming texture, shape, and movement within a composition. Inspired by artists who merge language with visual storytelling, this course encourages a dynamic and experimental approach to image-making while developing a personal artistic voice.
