This one-day workshop will explore techniques of creating and applying ceramic decals onto ceramic pieces. This method allows for the decoration of pottery without the need for hand-painting, offering a faster and more precise way to decorate. Students will learn how to edit their images on Photoshop and learn about the digital tools and printers to make and apply decals. Demonstrations on clay tiles will be provided. What to bring • 2 glazed pieces - ceramic work should be light-toned, for contrast with the decals that will be printed in a blue tone. • A few Images on a Flash Drive to be used to create decals.
