FUSED GLASS FUN WITH FRIT! FOOTBALL FIELD AND MORE/ Martha DownerMondays from 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
June 6/30, 7/14, 8/4, 8/11
Class Fee: $150
In this class, students will explore the fundamentals of glass fusing, covering essential topics such as glass compatibility, glass cutting and utilization, designing on glass, preparing kiln shelves with Papyros paper release, firing schedules, and analyzing project results. Throughout the course, participants will complete 3-4 projects using fused glass techniques, including creating plant stakes, a football field design, and a floral scene. This class requires no prior experience, and all skill levels are welcome. Supplies are provided, although students can bring their own additional glass, if it is COE 90. *Please always wear close-toed shoes

REFUND POLICY:
To receive a refund, students must submit their request at least 1 week before the first class. No refunds or transfers are guaranteed after this time. To withdraw from a class, you are required to email ChastainArts@AtlantaGA.gov and include your name, the class name, and your reason for withdrawal. The option to accept an account credit for the class withdrawal is preferred.
If a withdrawal/refund is requested after 1 week prior to or after the class has begun, a $30 administration fee will be deducted and only an account credit will be processed to be used for future class registrations, clay purchases, and future purchases in our gift shop & gallery. If a class has begun at minimum enrollment, we cannot process refunds or credits after the first class has already started. If you register for a class after the session has begun, only an account credit will be processed if a withdrawal is requested. Anyone registered for a figure class with a model will be required to pay the model fee on the first day of class with cash or check to the instructor. Even if you request a withdrawal after the first day of class, you will be required to pay the model fee calculated based on enrollment on the first-class meeting. The Chastain Arts Center is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences. Please discuss any unavoidable absences with your instructor.
