Description
In this class students will explore the art of sewing with beads to create wearable art jewelry. Students will use a variety of basic stitching techniques to create surface texture and interest. Students will bezel cabochons to create focal elements and use combined techniques from previous classes to design and create a bead embroidered cuff. Note: Previous bead embroidery experience recommended but not required.
SUPPLIES: Seed beads (Toho, Miyuki, or Czech) in a variety of sizes and finishes, assorted glass beads, cabochons, metal cuff bracelet form, beading foundation fabric, backing fabric (faux suede/leather), beading needles, nylon beading thread (Fireline), beading mat.
