Discover the art of metalsmithing in this beginner-friendly class designed to introduce students to the essential tools, techniques, and safety practices of the craft. Through hands-on instruction, you’ll learn fundamental skills such as sawing, filing, hammering, soldering, and finishing while creating your own handcrafted jewelry. Emphasis will be placed on proper tool usage, torch safety, and best practices in the studio. Whether you’re brand new to metalsmithing or looking to refine your foundational skills, this class will provide the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to start your journey in jewelry making. All tools and basic materials are provided, though students may wish to bring their own cabochons or sterling silver. Instructor: Nicolette Morgan Location: Jewelry Studio
