The students of Mercer University’s Physician Assistant Program are proud to present our 14th annual Creepy Crawly 5K Run/Walk. We are thankful for the opportunity to study medicine and understand the positive impact we can have in the communities where we will practice. This project, which will benefit Grace Village Medical Clinic, represents our commitment to outreach while we are still students. Our program views this 5K as an opportunity to raise money for an important cause, as well as an occasion for our class to acquaint Mercer University and the PA profession with our surrounding community. 

Mercer has recruited a highly qualified group of students with many different types of medical training and life experiences. Despite our diverse backgrounds, the members of our class are united in our love for science, medicine and our desire to apply this learning for the benefit of the patients who will depend on our care. We are excited about the expanding role of our profession in healthcare and look forward to the day when we practice medicine as physician assistants.

Event details and schedule

The race is a 5K trail run/walk open to all ages. COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED! 

Cost: $30 registration online (including a free T-shirt) until October 1st, 2025. Registration after this date will not include a free T-shirt. Day-of registration is also available, for $35. Registration for those 65+ is $25. Children under 10 have free admission (does NOT include a t-shirt).

Race day registration and t-shirt/packet pick-up will begin at 8:00 AM. Race begins at 9:00 AM.

 Location: Mercer University Atlanta Campus (3001 Mercer University Drive, Atlanta GA 30341).  Parking is FREE in the Mercer University Atlanta west parking lot. Top runners' prizes TBD. There will also be a prize for best costume! Dogs on leashes are welcome!
