Join us for a hands-on service opportunity with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a nonprofit organization committed to ending hunger by providing nutritious meals to children around the world. During this event, volunteers will work together to hand- pack meals that are shipped to over 70 countries. This is for the 2pm-3:45pm SHIFT. This is a first come first serve sign up. Each shift can accommodate 180 people. Everyone must register. Troops/Groups looking to pay with one payment method, please contact Jessica Hickman. The minimum age for volunteering is 5 years old. For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed to participate in packing sessions. We recommend that groups of youth be third grade or older. For schools, churches, sports teams, or other large groups of youth, please follow our student-to-adult ratio when registering: Grades K-2: 1 student to 1 adult Grades 3-6: 3 students to 1 adult Grades 7-12: 4 students to 1 adult Please Note: Everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (an adult is someone 18 years of age or older). Food is not provided. This is NOT a drop-off event. This program is designed for families, troops or individuals with an adult chaperone.
