Whether you have attended IslandWood camps for years, or are brand new, this camp offers a unique experience to study local ecosystems with the aid of scientific instruments and guest scientists. Campers will get a rare opportunity to walk into the bog, take tree core samples, and examine tidal creatures from beyond the shoreline. This camp is designed to inspire the next generation of environmental scientists! *Note this camp features a walking field trip to Rockaway Beach that requires end of camp pick up from Blakely Harbor. Campers must be willing and able to walk 4 miles with elevation gain.
