The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) course is an in-person class for healthcare professionals and others who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Instruction includes adult and pediatric (child/infant) CPR, two-rescuer scenarios and the use of bag valve masks, foreign body airway instruction, automated external defibrillation (AED), special resuscitation situations, stroke and cardiac arrest, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Students will have use of AHA's 2020 Basic Life Support provider manual while in class. IMPORTANT - AHA BLS $75 $75 fee will be collected on class date (Cash & Money Order Accepted / NO personal checks accepted). Contact adulted@utc4me.org with questions.
