BELONGING: UNITY IN COMMUNITY RESIDENCYWHAT DOES “BELONGING” MEAN TO YOU?John Noltner, acclaimed author, photo/journalist, and peace advocate who is originally from Beaver Dam will explore that question during his introductory talk at The Watermark on Wednesday, September 17, 8:00am. He will share his commitment to bridging the gaps that divide while he traveled over 90,000 miles across the U.S. to gather stories and portraits from people of many and diverse cultures. Following the talk, from about 8:30-11:00am, he will take portrait photos of nominated local people and collect responses to the “belonging” question.
PHOTO EXHIBITTo enhance his message, Noltner’s “A Peace of My Mind” photo exhibit will be free to the public, at the Dodge County Center for the Arts on:
- Monday, Sept. 15, 10:00am-7:00pm

- Wednesday, Sept. 17, 12:00-7:00pm
- Thursday, Sept. 18, 12:00-8:00pm (with commentary by Noltner at 7:00pm)
