NATIONAL FALLS PREVENTION AWARENESS WEEKSEPTEMBER 22-26, 2025National Falls Prevention Awareness Week is a nationwide health campaign observed on the first day of fall, dedicated to raising awareness about fall-related injuries and promoting strategies for prevention. Our series of planned events is designed to address the underlying causes of falls—such as environmental hazards, health conditions, and lifestyle factors—while empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools to stay safe and independent.
9/23: Screening Event & Mugs for Rugs@ St. Vincent DePaul, 9am-12pm
9/24: Screening Event@ YMCA of Dodge County, 9-11am
9/25: Dr. Benjamin Shier “Tai Chi & Fall Prevention”@ The Watermark 12-1pm
