Description

Join featured artist Carrie Carlson for a hands-on block printing workshop where creativity meets the great outdoors! In this fun and relaxed session, participants will design and carve their own linoleum block inspired by nature then use it to create beautiful prints, notecards and custom tea towel designs. No experience needed — this workshop is perfect for all skill levels. Come explore the art of printmaking and leave with handmade creations and new skills! All materials provided. This workshop is offered in tandem with Carlson’s exhibition, “Prairie Reverie,” on display at the nature center through Aug. 24. Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility.

Ages 15 and older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
