In this class, you’ll make a series of small and large plates on the potter's wheel. Students will improve their wheel-throwing techniques and grasp the importance of trimming and finishing to create lighter, well-balanced serving ware. Glaze application and alternative finishes will also be covered in more depth. Please note this is an intermediate-level class and prior wheel-throwing experience is required.  Clay must be purchased at the Studio. Clay is $15-$35 for a 25 lb bag depending on clay body.
