Description
In collaboration with EmpowerU's Specialty Fitness, YGBW is proud to introduce EmpowerU’s Living Well Series! An eight-week wellness program designed to support adults with autism and other developmental disabilities through inclusive, community-centered fitness and education. The series includes adapted group exercise classes that focus on building strength, stamina, and balance, with sensory-informed warmups and individualized support to meet all ability levels. Participants gain practical knowledge in nutrition and daily movement, learning how small choices—like taking the stairs or adding short walks—can lead to long-term health benefits. Group activities also promote social engagement, exploration, and a stronger connection with the community. Built on EmpowerU’s proven experience, the Healthy Living Series is a natural extension of our mission to foster health, independence, and inclusion.
The Living Well Series is powered by the Eagles Autism Foundation, whose mission is to fund innovative autism research and programs while promoting inclusion and accessibility. By leveraging the platform of the Philadelphia Eagles, the foundation brings communities together, champions neurodiversity, and creates meaningful opportunities for individuals with autism to live their fullest lives.
No class will be held on Juneteenth Thursday, June 19.
