2025 Doggy Splash Event

Bettendorf Parks & Recreation is partnering with the Bettendorf Dog Park Alliance (an affiliate of Friends of Bettendorf Parks & Rec) to host this year's Doggy Splash event at YMCA's Waterpark at The Landing!

When: Monday, September 1

Time: 5:30pm-6:30pm

Fee: $10 per dog (one dog per owner - owner must be 16 years or older)

Weight: All dogs will swim together regardless of their weight.

Register online or pay at the door. To avoid long lines and wait time, we encourage you to pre-register at www.bettendorf.org/doggysplash. Online registration is available until 11:59pm Thursday, August 28th. After this date/time, participants must pay cash at the door.

The following rules have been established for participant safety and enjoyment. Failure to follow these rules will result in dismissal from the event.
1. All owners must be at least 16 years of age and may only bring one dog per owner.
2. Owners will not be allowed to swim or wade in the pool water unless it is necessary to remove their dog.
3. All dogs are welcome but all weight groups will swim at once with no delineation within the pool for varying sizes.
4. All dogs brought to the pool are required to be current on their breed’s required vaccinations. In the event of an incident the owner must be able to produce this proof of vaccination.
5. All owners are responsible for any cleanups that may be needed - including grassy areas.
6. No aggressive behavior toward other dogs or humans will be tolerated.
7. All dogs are expected to be on a leash until they are in the pool area. No prong collars are allowed.
8. No food or drinks allowed on the pool deck.
9. If they are used safely, dogs may use the diving board and any small toys and balls.
