Concept Art & Visual Development: Grades 6 – 12
Instructor: Courtney Crider

Dive into the exciting world of concept art and
visual development, where your imagination brings
stories to life! In this class, you’ll explore character
design, environment design, color studies,
lighting and more. Whether you’re imagining a
story meant for an animated film or tv show, video
game, graphic novel, or picture book, this class
will guide you through the creative process from
idea to finished artwork. By the end of this course,
you’ll have a concept art portfolio showcasing your
unique characters and world.
Artists can work with traditional media and / or
digital art.
