Intro to Digital Art & Style Exploration: Grades 8-12

Learn how to become a digital artist and how to find your own unique style. Using the iPad app Procreate, students will learn how to create digital artwork. We will go over the basics of the program, learn different techniques of coloring and rendering digitally, and we will study different digital artists and what makes their style of drawing characters and environments unique. Students will get to try out these different styles and techniques, which will help them learn what kind of art they like to draw. This style exploration will put them on a path to discovering what they want their art to look like and what makes their art uniquely their own.

Students should bring an iPad with the Procreate app and stylus/Apple Pencil to the first class.These materials are not provided.
