Drawing the Figure

In this class students of all levels will grow in their understanding and mastery of the figure. Class will include gesture drawing, long poses, demonstrations, anatomy and construction breakdowns, and individual feedback. Whether you are a beginner or a professional artist looking to level up your skills, this class will provide the insight and inspiration you seek.

MATERIALS LIST

18’’ x 25’’ pad of newsprint
pad of drawing paper (Strathmore recommended)
Soft vine charcoal
Chamois cloth, kneaded eraser
Rubber eraser
2B and 4B charcoal pencils
HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B graphite drawing pencils (only a few required but all recommended)
