Painting: Beginning Portrait
2-Day Workshop w / Tim Widener

This workshop takes the student from a beginning status to an
intermediate status. The focus is placing the head on the canvas,
using light and darks to draw the head, how to paint basic features,
mixing flesh tones and basic character development. This second
half will take the advanced beginner student towards a greater
understanding of modeling the head, developing the models character,
using color more inventively and better brush handling skills. Materials list
is on the BBAC website listed with the class.

Prerequisite: Basic painting skills are needed attend this beginner portrait class. (This is not an Introductory Workshop.)
