Painting Light: Advanced

Painting Light is a class that develops both your ability to use light to render form while teaching the fundamentals of creating a work of art. Methods to use color, composition, tonal development, and understanding value and edges are a few principles taught. The development of individual artistic taste and sensibilities are also a focus.
Prerequisite: Students must be painting at an advanced level and have prior approval from the instructor to enroll in this class. (If you are new, please send your info & images to info@bbartcenter.org, and in the subject line type in "Tim Widener - Advanced Class Approval".)

Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor & Pastel can be used in this class.If this is the first time taking this class, bring a few samples of your work (if possible.)
For the first day, please bring:- a tarp to cover the floor or table are you are using each week- Bring all the supplies you usually use to paint with. - Only Turpenoid or Gamsol can be used in the classroom (no Turpentine, Odorless Turpentine, Mineral Spirits, Odorless Mineral Spirits, or Paint Thinner.)
