Painting: Oil Painting Level 1 & 2 (This is not an Intro class)
Instructor: Donald Cronkhite

Using oil paint as a medium, students will learn concepts of composition, value, color mixing, and brush control by painting from a photograph supplied from the instructor. There will be attention given to each student throughout the class and individual demos.

Prerequisite: Some knowledge of drawing and/or painting at a beginning level.

FIRST DAY:
Sketchbook 9 x 10 or larger
Drawing pencils - 2b or HB
White eraser
Brown gum eraser

On the first day of class, we will only be using these materials listed above, and we will discuss the rest of the materials list that day.
