The Committee for the Great Salt Pond’s second youth swim, The Great Salt Pond Youth Swim -2025 will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 on Block Island, Rhode Island.  This will be a (1/4)  mile swim  starting at Andy’s Way Beach, swimming out toward Beane Point, and returning to Andy’s Way Beach.  The swimmer registration fee for this event is $30.00, and on-line registration opens on October 1, 2024.  The swim course is in a protected area with not much chop.  In addition, the swim will take place along a straight line, marked by buoys.  This swim is an annual fundraiser, serving to support our efforts to protect The Great Salt Pond.  Go to www.CGSPBlockIsland.org, click the link The Great Salt Pond Youth Swim - 2025 and then click on the link"Swim Participant Packet" for more information, and be sure to visit our facebook page at facebook.com/cgspblockisland.  (Go to:  www.CGSPBlockIsland.org to view photos of all the past swims)
