Description
Join us in the elegant Victorian Founder's Room for our seventh Wine Seminar of the year, dedicated to exploring the esteemed Beaujolais region through its exquisite wines.
The Beaujolais region, located just south of Burgundy in France, is renowned for its picturesque vineyards and distinctive wines made primarily from the Gamay grape. The region is characterized by rolling hills, granite soils, and a moderate climate, which contribute to the vibrant and fruit-forward nature of its wines. Beaujolais wines are known for their light body, low tannins, and lively acidity, making them approachable and food-friendly.
Jo-Ann Ross, Wine Master Educator and Director of Education for the Boston Sommelier Society, will be our esteemed host for the evening. With her extensive knowledge and expertise, Jo-Ann will guide us through a carefully curated selection of Beaujolais wines, providing valuable insights and enhancing participants' appreciation of this legendary wine region.
All our wine seminars are presented in English.
