Words Matter: Exploring Gender and Inclusive Language WorkshopParticipants will explore the basic concepts of gender, identity, and social constructs, including the use of pronouns and the importance of inclusive language. The session will also provide practical tips for supporting people with diverse identities. Instructor: Val Ponce Najera (they/them) is an LGBTIQ2S+ inclusive language translator and educator based in Denver, Colorado and facilitates inclusive language and LGBTQ+ workshops throughout Boulder County in partnership with Boulder County Public Health.
