Purple Art - Creative ExpressionFun with Miro: Joan Miro was a leading pioneer and proponent of surrealism, using childlike style that plays with color, lines, and forms. Participants will create a Miro inspired art piece.Purple Art invites participants to explore creativity through a series of mixed media art projects, encouraging free expression without judgment or prior experience. Guided by Cindy and Abby, participants receive support and enjoy a welcoming environment filled with humor and fun. Spaces are limited, and registration is required.
Each class at each Age Well Center will feature a different project. On May 23: Paint and collage a portrait or self-portrait using cubist techniques.
Instructors: Abby Sivy and Cindy Parker are the owners of Bohemia, LLC, a local art studio that provides innovative, expressive art programs across the Front Range with older adults.
Projects change monthly. All necessary supplies are provided in class.
