Chess is not only a fun family game, it teaches thinking skills such as strategizing, logic, visualizing, concentrating, discipline, spatial reasoning and so much more. It is a great game for families and friends. This 2-hour workshop may not make you a grand master yet, but you will know the rules of the game and be able to play others when you are done. Chess boards will be provided but participants are encouraged to get one for themselves as well. Grab a friend or family member of any age, and come join the fun. Or come on your own and we'll get you a partner. Minimum students required: 2
