Intermediate Horsemanship Class: This class is for students that are interested in fine tuning their horsemanship skills and is open to all ages as long as the student is confident at the walk, trot/jog and working on the canter/lope, and have the basic concepts down for grooming and tacking up. Riders are welcome to ride English or Western. The 3rd class of every month will be bareback/no stirrups option. This is an excellent class for riders that just completed the ‘Get Acquainted /re-acquainted with horses’ class. This class will consist of a basic warm up for horse and rider on the ground and in the saddle, followed by work on horsemanship patterns, obstacles, desensitizing, and training maneuvers for developing a softer feel and relationship with your horse. Tack up your horse at 9:00am and be ready to ride at 9:30am. Riders must have your own horse/ leased/lesson horse available or permission to use CRE lesson horse. We do have a 24 hour cancellation policy, please make sure to notify us if you are not able to make it or you will be charged for full price of the lesson. Cost: $85 per lesson -We do enforce a 24 hour cancellation notice policy. -Classes will be canceled if temperature is 20 degrees or below.
