This class is perfect for beginners and experienced bakers looking to learn more about creating a beautiful, tangy loaf! The amount of information currently being circulated can be overwhelming, but in this class I will break it down and simplify the process for you. This class will cover all the basics including terminology, tools, techniques, and ingredients. Attendees will be provided with a jar of organic sourdough starter and a printed guide with care instructions and recipe. We will not be baking an actual loaf in the class due to the time involved from start to finish. However, I will be providing you with all the skills and knowledge necessary so you can feel confident in your own kitchen! Instructor Bio: My name is Lindsay and I have been an avid baker for over a decade. I have experience with making pies, professional cakes, and anything bread related. I also enjoy learning herbalism and growing my own medicinal herbs and veggies. I love incorporating and making various types of fermented foods in my kitchen which is exactly why sourdough has become my main focus over the past 3 years. Sourdough is tangy due to the fermentation process. I love sharing my knowledge and skills with others so they can feel confident and bake delicious, healthy bread. Thank you for your support!!!
