$105 non-refundable deposit to the Tampa Bay HEAT. Pay just the deposit with a payment plan today, or pay in full. This course covers topics in Euclidean Geometry, including logic and proofs. Even if the student found Algebra to be a challenge, he/she should be able to succeed in this course. The basic course will be the Math-U-See curriculum, however, I will be supplementing with additional/more in-depth worksheets and hands-on activities. There will be several projects through out the year that students will complete. Class size limit is 20 students. These spaces will fill as the non-refundable deposit (facility fee) is received. Curriculum: Please purchase for your student, the Math-U-See Geometry Student Pack. (It is green with an Egyptian Pyramid on the cover) This will include the student’s workbook as well as testing packet. I will collect all student testing books at the beginning of the year and hand the test/quiz to the student at the appropriate time. Each week the student will turn in a selected homework sheet to be graded for effort and accuracy. Teacher made tests will also be used for testing comprehension. Students should also purchase a notebook for worksheets, and a ruler/compass/protractor set for class use. Please bring these to each class. Kelly Mamott. I am a Christian, and former homeschooling mom. I graduated in 1988 from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Mathematics Education. I was certified in Florida for Mathematics Grade 6-12. I taught in a public Middle School until my first child was born in 1993. We began our homeschool journey in 2002. I have homeschooled our 4 children. During these years, I also taught several homeschool classes, including Algebra, Geometry, and Chemistry as well as variety of co-op style classes.
