Paint the gardens at BBG in soft pastels, an opaque medium with the saturated color of oil paint. This class is taught studio style, with one-on-one instruction, and ending in a group critique to discuss each individual’s particular goals in light of a range of ideas and approaches. On rainy days we will work from still life set ups with subjects from the Education Greenhouses and other elements. Some class pastels will be provided to bolster each student’s palette. Some experience recommended. Materials fee: $7.
