Dates: Sept 13, 14 Instructor: Lucy Beizer In the Sewing 101 course students will learn the essential skills of sewing: how to use a sewing machine, basic pattern reading and sewing construction while creating a simple project, such as a fully lined tote or a simple A line tank top or dress. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. Weekend Intensive students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
