Dates: May 10, 11 Instructor: Jasmine Murrell Learn the basics of basket weaving: different natural materials, types of baskets, and how to shape and weave a basket. Students will work on a variety of projects, exploring different basket weaving techniques, such as twinning and ribbing. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. Weekend Intensive students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
