About this event

With Samuel Pressman, Samuel’s Food Gardens, and Marion Yeun, The MYA Group

NNative food forests—even on a micro scale—are resilient, perennial landscapes that feed people, plants, and pollinators. Community and home gardeners alike can help jump-start these forests alongside existing growing areas, nurturing them to maturity in just a few years to last for generations. Hear how these passionate zero-waste gardeners have successfully turned concrete and lawn into thriving biowebs, mitigating climate change and gathering community. Take home a native plant to try!

ASL interpreter available upon request; contact community@bbg.org at least two weeks prior to the class date.
