DATES: Jun 2, 9, 16, 23 Instructor: Alejandra Mejia Torres With very little assembly required, students will spend the majority of this class weaving. With a bead loom, we can produce bracelets, belts, or bands that can be used as an appliqué with another project or as standalone pieces . While bead weaving generally produces rectangular shapes, it is also possible to learn how to create angular and curvy forms too. Your instructor will help you with project planning as well as with starting and finishing techniques. This workshop will leave you with the basics skills of bead weaving and included in the cost, is your own bead loom and sead beads! -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 4 Week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class weeks and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
