Description

This is a Competitive 5v5 Basketball League that offers 8 regular season games, up to 2 playoff games and a championship. Games are played full-court and consist of two officiated 20-minute halves. It is recommended all teams have minimum of 8 players per team to ensure substitutions.

Please note, this is a structured league that requires teams to commit to playing on a weekly basis. All players are expected to understand the rules to 5v5 basketball prior to joining the league - rules can be found on our website at bcit.ca/recreation.

All players are required to attend the mandatory Pre-Season Meeting (date/time below) to participate in the league.

• Pre-Season Meeting (Mandatory): Wednesday, September 17 at 3:00pm in the SE16 Gymnasium
• Game Days: Weekly on Thursdays from September 25 - November 27, 2025
• Playoff Dates: November 20 & 27 (Note: Top 4 teams after conclusion of regular season qualify for playoffs)
• Game Times: 5:30pm, 6:30pm or 7:30pm
