WEDNESDAY, 4:45 - 5:45 PM - On-ice GroupWEDNESDAY, 6:00 - 6:45 PM - Group Dryland Training SessionApril 9 - June 25, 2025Program is located at West Hillhurst Arena.

• Ages 5 yrs old and up.
• Fees are prorated based on start date.
• Must purchase valid WHCA Community Membership & Annual Skate Canada Membership before registering for this program.

Registration Details:

• Total 1 hr on-ice group lesson and includes 45-mins group dryland (off-ice) training session.
• For beginner figure skaters with little figure skating experience (1-3 yrs) or may have passed CanSkate Stage 5 or higher.
• JR STAR will focus on skaters working on their Star 1 and 2 skills and elements in Skills, Freeskate and Dance.
• Private, semi-private or small group on-ice lessons are available upon request for additional fees during the session.

Equipment Requirements:

• Proper fitting Figure Skates (very important for preventing foot/ankle injuries and for better skating progression).
• Hair tied back away from skater’s face.
• Appropriate skating attire (skating dress or athletic wear are acceptable) and must have warm gloves.
• Complimentary equipment consultation is available.
