WEDNESDAY, 6:45-7:30 PM - Group Dryland Training SessionApril 9 - June 25, 2025Program is located at West Hillhurst Arena.

• Ages 7 yrs old and up.
• Fees are prorated based on start date.
• Must purchase valid WHCA Community Membership & Annual Skate Canada Membership before registering for this program.

Registration Details:

• Total 45-mins group dryland (off-ice) training session focusing on jump technique, strength, conditioning and flexibility.
• Skaters must have passed the Skate Canada STAR 2 assessments in all disciplines (Freeskate, Ice Dance and Skills) to be in the INT/SR STAR & Competitive program.
• Skaters are working towards STAR 3-5 assessments in this program and may be participating in STAR 3-5 or higher competitive levels.
• It is strongly recommended that all skaters partaking in the STARSkate open session join the Dryland session. Dryland is a big component of figure skating and only makes on-ice movements easier for your skater.

Equipment Requirements:

• Athletic apparel, running shoes and water bottle.
• Hair tied back away from skater’s face.
