Description

Do you want to learn how to sew? In this class you will learn basic hand sewing which will include getting familiar with hand sewing safety, notions, tools, threading a needle, tying knots, pinning, eight hand stitches, three sewing techniques and a simple project. Bring a snack for a break halfway through the class. Parent/guardian required to stay with participants under 18.Supplies: 2 magnetic pin cushions, variety package of hand needles, 5” scissors, 6” metal seam gauge, package with a set of light & dark chalk markers, silk or dressmaker pins-test that they are magnetic by placing the package on a magnetic pin cushion and yellow head quilting pins-test that they are magnetic by placing the package on a magnetic pin cushion.For more information, contact ShirleyRash@gmail.com or visit sewhappysewingschool.com
