Description

Join the Carson City Park Rangers for a hoot of an adventure in our new Jr. Park Ranger Adventure Series. This session is all about owls - one of nature's wisest and stealthiest hunters! Kids will have a whoo-tastic time learning about these fascinating creatures of the night and even get the chance to dissect a real owl pellet. Gloves and dissection tools will be provided.

We will be stationed at the Mills Park Amphitheater (Seely Loop) off North Saliman Rd. There will be a short walk from the amphitheater to a nearby location within the park to hopefully catch a glimpse of a Great-horned Owl! Dress for the weather and bring plenty of water.
